About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled System Analyst to support a Department of Defense (DoD) contract at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. In this role, you will contribute to secure software development, STIG compliance, and the creation of a Cybersecurity Paradigm Roadmap for a global IT enterprise. Key Responsibilities:
Engage with software sustainers to assess system baselines against STIG checklists, delivering accurate compliance responses.
Document responses and produce individual reports for each baseline.
Provide analysis and guidance to remedy non-compliant checklist items.
Develop artifacts to meet STIG and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) cybersecurity requirements.
Support the implementation of secure software development practices.
Contribute to technical reports and documentation for cybersecurity compliance.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in secure software development, application of STIGs to computer software, and software development methodologies.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with:
Java or J2EE development
Fortify security scan software
CodeSonar security scan software
DISA Application Security and Development STIG
Certifications: Information Assurance Technical Level II or Information Assurance System Architecture and Engineering Level II certification per DoDM 8140.03 and DAFMAN 17-1305 required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
Clearance: Active Secret security clearance required at the start of employment.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and effective collaboration with technical teams.
