About the Role:

Join our team to provide critical cybersecurity support for a high-impact Department of Defense (DoD) mission at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a key role in planning and executing Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments, ensuring compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and safeguarding mission-critical IT systems. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct testing and analysis of applicable STIGs to ensure system compliance.

Schedule and implement STIGs, monitoring quarterly revalidation schedules and emerging changes.

Monitor cybersecurity risks and threats to the IT environment, providing proactive solutions.

Support the development of implementation plans for transitioning systems to a cloud environment.

Prepare and deliver briefings to leadership, facilitate cybersecurity collaboration meetings, and document action items.

Develop technical reports and artifacts to support cybersecurity compliance.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in Air Force or industry cybersecurity standards, or equivalent experience with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) security standards.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with:

Endpoint Security

Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

Threat Hunting and Risk Analysis

Intrusion Detection Systems

Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) STIGs

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) preferred.

Clearance: Active Secret security clearance required at the start of employment. Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
