Data Engineer - Total Compensation with Security Clearance

Summary TTG Solutions is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to develop innovative tools, code, and services for data engineering activities. This role involves managing diverse data sources, executing data transformation processes, and ensuring data quality and access conformity in a collaborative environment.Description Develop new tools and code for data movement and transformation of structured and unstructured data. Execute data ingestion for local and enterprise data storage solutions. Work closely with Data Scientists and partners to determine optimal data formats. Create and maintain ETL processes following best practices, while producing documentation for data projects. Design data pipelines using technologies like Spark, Apache Iceberg, Trino, and cloud services. Ensure data pedigree, preprocess data for advanced analytics, and collaborate across teams to enhance data standards and services. Ensure data quality and standardization in partnership with quality assurance teams.Experience LevelSenior 3 years of unrelated experience = 1 year of related experience. Bachelors preferred. Master's degree = 1 year of additional related experience. 3 certifications and/or other applicable credentials = 1 year of additional related experience. Requirements: 8-11 years experience

Required Skills

* 10+ years' experience in data lifecycle engineering

* Experience with ETL tools and services development

* Knowledge of cloud and on-prem data solutions

* Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark

* Familiarity with COTS and open source tools like ElasticSearch and NiFi

Base Salary $185,250 - $224,250 PTO 30 days annual PTO, which includes holidays. Retirement 15% company retirement contribution. No match required. Vesting period is 50% per year over 2 years.
