Job Summary:
The focus of the internship will be on coordination of corporate-related administrative and analytical support. This work will include various department-specific projects related to intern educational studies.
Administrative Interns are entry level positions responsible for improving their overall job knowledge and providing administrative support. Projects may include work for Accounting, Facilities, Human Resources, and/or Marketing departments.
Position is a temporary position, expected to be about three months, and a short-term work assignment.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Location: This is an onsite role at our administrative office in Downtown Tacoma. Free and secured parking is included.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Essential Job Functions:
Work under the direction of a TRA Analyst, or other staff, who will provide daily oversight and project input and supervision.
Project support will include providing financial and data analysis to various special projects as directed by TRA leadership, including development of financial benchmarking and new business development tools.
Ability to cross-train on various corporate admin functions, including accounting, finance, human resources and marketing.
Qualifications:
Education/Work Experience
High School Graduate or GED required
One year of related work experience and one year of college education, or three years’ equivalent college education/course work
Job Knowledge/Skills
Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
Must possess strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills
Must be proactive and possess financial analysis skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding multitasking abilities
Innovative thinking
Proficiency in MS Office and calendar management
Significant work or volunteer experience in administration
Highly motivated
Working knowledge of MS Office package including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills
Communicate professionally with other medical facilities, patients, and customers
Ability to manage multiple tasks and carry out instructions effectively.
