Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Medical Provider (APMP) plays a vital role in caring for patients in accordance with their training and governing board regulations. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, you will ensure effective patient flow and high satisfaction levels. This position is associated with a franchised medical facility, and specific job duties and benefits may vary.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive medical histories, review patient records, develop insightful medical assessments, and order necessary diagnostic tests based on individual patient needs.

Formulate accurate medical diagnoses and implement appropriate treatment plans or referrals to specialists and community resources.

Take immediate action and provide emergency care in critical situations including cardiac events, shock, hemorrhage, and severe allergic reactions.

Analyze and interpret patient data to assess status and guide treatment approaches.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers about health care options and preventive measures.

Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Strong communicator with the ability to engage effectively with staff, patients, and families.

Professional demeanor and appearance.

ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified (1 year of ER/Urgent Care experience preferred).

Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, along with a DEA number and state-controlled substance certification.

Capable of managing multiple tasks and working independently.
