Position Summary
The Senior Product Manager for Interconnect / Embedded Systems will be pivotal in developing and managing our innovative product portfolio, focusing on board-level and high-speed connector products tailored to meet the stringent demands of industries requiring high reliability. This position calls for a strategic thinker with outstanding project management skills and a strong foundation in electronics manufacturing processes, particularly in embedded electronics systems and related subsystems.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy Development: Formulate and implement a robust product strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and market trends, emphasizing high-reliability electronic components and systems.
Market Analysis: Engage in comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to pinpoint market opportunities, customer requirements, and potential challenges.
Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a transparent product roadmap, prioritizing new product developments to meet market needs effectively.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product development and efficient launches.
Product Development: Lead product initiatives from concept to launch by defining requirements and managing timelines and budgets.
Quality Assurance: Uphold high quality and regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
Customer Engagement: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key customers to enhance existing products and identify innovation opportunities.
Financial Management: Oversee the product budget, forecast revenues, and manage costs to ensure product line profitability.
Team Leadership: Mentor and lead cross-functional teams to support product management efforts.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout product development and market adoption.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of product management experience in high-reliability electronics manufacturing or related industries.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adept at navigating ambiguity while driving results.
A strong technical background in electronics with experience in demanding applications such as defense, aerospace, and medical fields.
Demonstrated success in launching and managing high-reliability electronic products.
Excellent project management skills with the capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and database tools.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, thriving in fast-paced environments.
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards for high-reliability electronics is a plus.
