Position Overview:
The Marketing Data Coordinator plays a key part in transforming technical product data into clear, compelling marketing content that supports product launches, web syndication, and customer success.
This is an ideal position for someone with a marketing content/writing background, has intermediate excel skills with the willingness to grow, enjoys reviewing product details for accuracy, and understands how precise, complete data powers great marketing.
Responsibilities:
· Convert technical product specifications into customer-facing, marketing-ready data (e.g., titles, bullets, features, and descriptions).
· Verify the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of product data within the Salsify product information management (PIM) system.
· Facilitate the internal approval process for marketing data, ensuring all stakeholders sign off before distribution.
· Distribute approved content to the marketing team for use across web, print, and digital channels.
· Review product listings and marketing materials for data accuracy prior to release.
· Collaborate closely with the Marketing Data team to learn and support product data syndication to key customers, distributors, and e-commerce platforms.
· Serve as a point of contact for marketing data questions and ensure information remains up to date in PIM.
Requirements
· 2+ years of experience in a marketing, product content, or data-focused role.
· Strong Excel skills with the ability to manage, clean, and transform datasets.
· Meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over the accuracy of product content.
· Experience with a Product Information Management (PIM) system; Salsify experience is a plus.
· Excellent written communication and editing skills.
· Ability to balance speed with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
· Familiarity with PPE or technical product data is a bonus.
