Summary: Responsibility for working all warehouse dock-to-stock and stock-to-dock activities on a daily, shift, or team basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and execute all distribution services, including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met. Maintains quality compliance.
Ensure that the shipping schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are completed properly. Apply sound communication to carrier base as well as receiving facilities.
Ensure that customer orders are picked and shipped in a timely fashion within prescribed cost levels. Develop and implement an effective receiving operation that minimizes cost and ensures receiving paperwork is processed accurately and promptly.
Checks and unloads inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product and picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with high level of productivity.
Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork
Counts/verifies and records all product coming into or shipping out of the building, ensuring that all product is properly counted.
Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts. Ensure the optimal utilization of dock space.
Records: Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
Monitor the cleanliness and working condition of all equipment and the facility.
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining warehouse security. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety; ensure compliance in accordance with OSHA and other appropriate standards.

Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Ability to pick, pack, load, and put away boxes up to 50 pounds.
Ability to drive a forklift is a PLUS!
Good computer skills
Requires bending, standing for 3 hours at a time, sitting, ladder climbing, reaching and pulling
