Position: Maintenance Technician

Reports To: Property Manager/ RPS

Position Type: Full Time

Locations: Wasco, CA

Salary: $25.00 to $27.00 hourly

Essential Functions:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to safety and quality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance services, including but not limited to:

Plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning repairs

Carpentry, appliance repairs, and glass replacement

Completing daily work orders as assigned by the supervisor

Maintaining professionalism and adhering to company policies

Performing apartment make-ready work

Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems

Participating in preventive maintenance programs

Following all safety regulations and standards

Assisting with other duties as required.

Requirements

Must have own tools for plumbing, electrical, and basic repairs

High School Diploma or GED with two years of related experience

Ability to operate hand tools and equipment used in grounds keeping

Ability to operate a motor vehicle

Ability to operate various hand and power tools

Deal effectively with co-workers and the public

Walk, stand and kneel for prolonged periods, climb a ladder

Travel Requirements: This position requires reliable transportation and 100% onsite work. Travel requirements may change at any time.

Physical Demands/Work Environment: This job requires the ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds; exposed to mechanical/electrical/chemical hazards; work outdoors in a wide disparity of environmental conditions; manipulate hand tools while exerting moderate physical strength or while in cramped/strained positions; exposed to dust/fumes; wear protective clothing; work irregular hours.
