3 yrs. exp. in auditing or accounting which must have included 18 mos. auditing exp. in accordance with auditing standards or in accordance with prescribed management policies &/or procedures as specified on agency position description.

-Or completion of undergraduate core coursework in accounting, business administration, computer science or related field; 12 mos. exp. in auditing or accounting which must have included auditing.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

What You'll Do:

Carries out the Ohio Casino Control Commission’s audit and compliance programs over casino gaming, sports gaming, and fantasy sports contests.

Conducts compliance, financial, and general audits including audits of control systems, programs, environments, transactions, accounts, balances, and regulatory requirements.

Develops and implements data analysis techniques.

Interprets data and analyzes results using data analysis procedures in conjunction with audit and compliance programs.

Aids in identifying potential auditing concerns and makes suggestions for audit program improvements.

Prepares audit reports including documentation of procedures, supporting evidence, information, and findings in accordance with division standards.

Performs research and investigates non-compliance.

Recommends and follows up on corrective procedures.

Compensation

Starting compensation for this position is $26.72 hourly/$55,578 annually with the opportunity to advance in pay after six months. This position is in Pay Range 31, please visit Pay Range Table for more information.
