What You'll Do:

OHFA is seeking a dedicated Housing Grant Analyst 2 who will...

Score, underwrite & review applications for tax credit & gap financing

Prepare funding packages for OHFA Board approval

Process bond paperwork (e.g., inducement, final resolution) & prepare subsidy funding agreements

Review subsidy resource draw requests & disbursements to ensure compliance with agency guidelines

Provide training & technical assistance to stakeholders (e.g., developers, lenders) on multifamily program regulations

Position Specific Notes\:

Travel is not typical of this position, but limited opportunities to attend trainings, conferences, or events may be provided & must be approved in advance by management.

The focus of this position will be multifamily housing projects.

The selected employee will be required to report to OHFA's offices which are located at 2600 Corporate Exchange Drive, Columbus, OH 43231.

Background Requirements

The final candidate selected for the position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. Criminal convictions do not necessarily preclude an applicant from consideration for a position. An individual assessment of an applicant’s prior criminal convictions will be made before excluding an applicant from consideration.

To receive further consideration, candidates must demonstrate on their application how they meet the following minimum required qualifications:

Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration/public administration, urban planning or political science; AND 4 courses or 12 months experience performing in financial underwriting of multifamily &/or single-family housing loans or bonds; AND must be able to provide own transportation.

OR 36 months training or 36 months experience in performing financial underwriting of multifamily &/or single-family housing loans or bonds; AND must be able to provide own transportation.

OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
