Controller

Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Controller for a long-time client locally. This leadership role is critical to driving financial performance through effective planning, compliance, reporting, and strategic insight

REQUIREMENTS of the Controller role

Bachelor s degree in accounting

CPA Designation highly preferred

7 - 10+ years of Accounting and FP&A Experience

Understanding of GAAP

NetSuite experience preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Controller

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.

Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes across departments

Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.

Translate operational activities and business drivers into financial impacts, and vice versa, to support cross-functional understanding and decision-making

Collaborate with department heads to drive financial discipline, identify risks/opportunities, and support strategic initiatives.

Ensure financial compliance and support internal and external audits.

Continuously review and improve accounting procedures and internal controls
