We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Operations & Business Technology Liaison & Project Delivery to join our Global Payments and Treasury Services Operations team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA, and will work a Hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office required).
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
The group – Workflow Optimization – manages end to end operational project delivery and has engineering/development oversight for the Global Sanctions Operations case management tool :
Defines user journeys and personas
Gathers SLAs and requirements per line of business/function
Participates and contributes to overall POD goal of defining and delivering a workflow UI that provides standardized dispositioning, investigation, and escalation of static and transactional sanctions alerts
In addition to supporting operational deliveries and automation, this group also provides support to business partners and sanctions compliance with commercial deliveries:
New product support and delivery
Client experience and growth
Enhanced reporting capabilities and traceability of sanctions operations screening activities
You will work in an agile environment, that focuses on:

Business analysis and requirements gathering

Operational efficiencies
Participates in the development of functional or operational requirements
Participates in process improvement reviews and summarizes business issues and compliance feedback for teams’ review
Uses defined or documented processes to collect and define requirements from businesses or functional areas
Pro-actively identify opportunities for improvement in operational process, client experience and business growth
Uses knowledge of business needs to provide design support to software and application development teams
Tasks include case development, requirement traceability, analysis, test script writing and preparation, test execution and validation
Supports testing of new or enhanced process(es), functionality, applications, and/or systems
Key role in ensuring operational readiness across the teams before any production implementation(s)
Interfaces with all areas of IT on behalf of the business to resolve IT matters and improve operational and business processes
Uses basic knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements and BNY corporate policies involving risk and control to support the development of improved business processes through technology
Understands and follows procedures, policy and governance associated with responsibilities and the role.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
0-3 years of total work experience preferred
Technical experience preferred
Aspects of project work with a background of execution and delivery
Sanctions knowledge
Transanctional or static screening knowledge
Prior work experience in an Agile environment
