POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Product Manager for Embedded Systems and Connectors will lead the development and management of our innovative product portfolio in board level and high-speed connector solutions tailored for high-reliability industries. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with outstanding project management skills and a profound understanding of electronic manufacturing processes and technologies, including embedded electronics systems, printed circuit board assemblies, and related components.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Strategy Development: Formulate and implement a forward-thinking product strategy that aligns with the company's vision and market trends, focusing on high-reliability electronic components and systems.

Market Analysis: Perform extensive market research to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and analyze competitors. Utilize insights to create a roadmap that guides new product releases to meet evolving market demands.

Product Roadmap: Develop and sustain a clear product roadmap, prioritizing features and new developments based on market needs and business objectives.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams to achieve product development goals and ensure successful launches.

Product Development: Oversee product development from concept to launch, defining product requirements and coordinating engineering projects while managing timelines and budgets.

Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards and regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

Customer Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with customers, gathering feedback to refine existing products and explore innovative opportunities.

Financial Management: Develop and oversee the product budget, forecast revenue, and monitor costs for profitability and sustainability.

Team Leadership: Mentor and lead cross-functional teams to enhance product management effectiveness.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to product development and market adoption.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years experience in product management within high-reliability electronics or related industries.

Self-motivated with a strong track record in executing successful marketing strategies.

Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

In-depth technical expertise in electronics and manufacturing processes, particularly in demanding markets like defense, aerospace, and medical.

Proven success in launching and managing high-reliability electronic products.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and database tools.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills, adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for high-reliability electronics is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, talk, hear, walk, and use hands. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Travel requirements may be 25-40% based on project needs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the essential functions, the employee may work near moving parts and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is typically moderate. Travel will be limited to less than 25%.
