Gurley Leep Automotive is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to users, ensuring the smooth and effective operation of IT systems. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install and configure new systems, and assist with network administration.
Key Responsibilities:
provide technical support for both hardware and software issues encountered by users
install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals
perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity
assist the network administration, including setting up user accounts, managing permissions, and ensuring network security
maintain accurate records of IT assets and update documentation regularly
collaborate with other team members to deliver effective solutions for complex technical issues
provide training and support to end-users on best practices and system usage

Strong organizational skills are a plus.
Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
Experience with network systems, including LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, and VPNs
Proficient in diagnosing hardware and software issues
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and cloud services
CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant certifications are a plus
Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle records check
