ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, ensuring all furniture, equipment, and decor are arranged according to event specifications.
Set tables, chairs, linens, and other event-related items in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring the space is ready prior to the event.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of banquet halls, including vacuuming, sweeping, and wiping down surfaces. Ensure all items are sanitized and presentable.
Provide assistance to guests as needed, including moving chairs or tables or offering any other support related to the event setup.
Ensure the proper supply of banquet materials including napkins, silverware, glassware, and dishes.
Work closely with the banquet team, catering staff, and leadership to ensure the smooth execution of events.
Wears and maintains all uniforms properly, including nametag. Must wear a gaming license if in possession of one.
Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and a general awareness of Banquet operations at all times. Keeps the supervisor informed of any concerns.
Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, internal policies and procedures, safety standards, and health standards.
Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated hands-on hospitality, bussing or serving experience, preferably within a banquet or fine dining environment. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or equivalent. One (1) or more years of recent and related experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent customer service skills. Basic mathematical skills including the ability to add and subtract. Ability to remain calm under pressure.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion including frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, stooping, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties require lifting trays containing food and lifting up to 30 pounds to stack, store or move kitchen, restaurant, or general office supplies and equipment. Essential duties involve a flexible workweek with additional hours routinely required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$18.00 an hour based on experience
