We are looking for a detail-oriented Claims Admin Support Specialist to join our client's claim office in Columbia, MO. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks in a dynamic office environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office operations while ensuring exceptional service and support.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize office supplies inventory, ensuring availability and timely replenishment.

• Operate and perform routine maintenance on office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines.

• Coordinate document shredding services with the designated vendor to ensure compliance with security protocols.

• Manage document handling tasks, including creating, retrieving, filing, and copying documents as needed.

• Draft and send routine correspondence while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

• Greet and direct visitors, addressing routine inquiries or escalating complex issues to appropriate personnel.

• Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail and packages, including FedEx and other delivery services.

• Schedule and organize meetings, manage records retention, and provide additional administrative support as requested.

• Conduct research and compile reports based on leadership's specific requirements.

• Occasionally travel to support office operations or attend work-related activities.• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Proficiency in using office equipment, including printers, scanners, and fax machines.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to follow up effectively on queries.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various clerical tasks.

• Competence in handling repetitive tasks involving prolonged sitting or upper extremity use.

• Ability to lift items weighing less than 50 lbs as part of routine duties.

• Familiarity with mail distribution processes and document management.

• Basic knowledge of record retention procedures and general office protocols.
