Machine Operator - Trench Operator - Excavator

Job Description

An excavator-trench operator is responsible for operating excavating and loading equipment Ability to work on construction sites, following blueprints and instructions from supervisors to dig holes, move earth, and clear land. They operate machinery such as trenchers, vacuum, bobcat - and be able to assist the building process by removing and relocating debris

Excavation duties include but are not limited to the following:

Digging, moving and grading the earth using heavy machinery for various construction projects

Preparing the site for foundations, utilities, landscaping and other features

Inspecting the quality and suitability of materials

Loading and unloading trucks with materials

Operating hand tools to break up soil or rocks

Compacting the soil to ensure a stable surfaceCompany Description
