OBJECTIVE / ACCOUNTABILITY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated System and Database Administrator with experience in managing a Windows environment with database expertise. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with a background in Windows server, programming, and database design and optimization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Systems Administration

Manage Windows/Linux servers, including maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting.

Implement security best practices, including backups, access controls, and monitoring.

Database Administration

Use SQL Programming to accomplish reporting.

Implement and maintain SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Packages to support reporting and automation needs.

Ensure data governance with respect to security and integrity to the standards of the company policy.

Develop and maintain SQL stored procedures and functions. Ensure SQL backups are successful

Collaboration and Communication:

Assist the IT Manager as needed

Work closely with company users including other developers, designers, and project managers.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Document technical specifications and system design.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Strong proficiency in database management (e.g., Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Access, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Powershell CLI and scripting

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Knowledge of network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and cloud environments.

Be fully trained in software, network, system documentation, and hardware support in order to provide support as needed.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCES

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Knowledge of AL programming language

Experience with Microsoft Business Central or Dynamics

Experience with utilizing AI such as ChatGPT in a business environment.
