NOTE: This is a full-time employment opportunity (No C2C, subcontractor or 1099 engagements, please.) The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation. This is a remote opportunity; ET time zone work schedule.

Daily Responsibilities

Work with respective stakeholders to provide overall guidance, strategy, solutions approach, and migration options.

Develop Cloud migration and integration approach, strategy, and migration plan.

Leverage client approved Cloud service providers.

Develop Cloud use cases and solutions approach.

Identify new Cloud requirements and solution options and make recommendations.

Develop Cloud roadmap and Cloud solutions implementation recommendations. Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, as mandated by our government client.

Must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation.

7+ years of hands-on experience designing cloud architecture and deploying cloud capabilities in an enterprise on-prem data center environment, primarily Microsoft Cloud Azure and secondary, AWS.

Hands-on experience delivering solutions running in automated cloud infrastructure.

Must have experience in a client-facing environment and interacting with technical and business stakeholders.

Significant experience designing, deploying, and supporting production cloud environments.

Experience working with software defined networking, storage systems architecture, virtualization, containers, and serverless technologies.

Experience with continuous monitoring and logging of all applications layers and all infrastructure.

Experience with container frameworks used to run microservices or data processing workloads with tools such as Azure Data Factory, HDInsight, Spark, and/or microservices.

Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability, and high availability.

Experience configuring and deploying multiple SaaS services.

Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and meeting facilitation, and negotiation skills.

Excellent analytical skills.

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline.

Experience in Azure DevOps, GitHub, and scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, and Bash is a PLUS.

Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The annual salary range for this position is $119,463 – $181,100.
