Best Buy Co. has an opening in Richfield, Minnesota, for a Senior Network Engineer position. Collaborate with other engineers to implement, manage support, troubleshoot, and improve all areas of network security. Support, build and innovate network security capabilities, using various technology solutions, including, Cisco-based route, switch campus, remote site and data center infrastructure, Cisco and Aruba wireless technologies, Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and global and local load-balancing solutions. Design, implement, and integrate support network security technologies; support integration with data center, cloud and end-user network architectures and network connectivity technologies in retail locations, corporate campuses, and data centers by using the following technologies: Cisco ACI solution with Cisco Nexus 9K switches, standard port-based firewall (routed and transparent), Next Generation firewalls, VPN platforms (IPSec & SSL), proxy platforms, Cisco ISE, web application firewall (WAF) platforms and working with load balanced environments. Work with peer engineers, project management, architecture, business, technical and network connectivity teams to achieve project delivery on network-related initiatives. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent foreign degree. 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience monitoring network and network security devices for a Fortune 500 company with revenue in excess of $5 billion; supporting Firewalls and Proxies; working with VPN platforms (such as Cisco ASA, Sourcefire & Firepower); managing integrated service routers; and configuring EPG groups, DNS, VIPs, and DHCP. Position also requires certifications in Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Red Hat Enterprise Linux Certification (RHCSA), AWS Solution Architect Associate. The pay ranges from $144,102/year to $144,102/year.
