We are currently seeking an experienced and versatile Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Gainesboro, Tennessee. Reporting to the Corporate Human Resources Manager, this position plays a vital role in supporting both our people and business strategy at the plant level.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist will be the go-to HR partner for our Gainesboro location, responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations while aligning with company-wide policies and initiatives. This is a hands-on role ideal for a strong generalist who thrives in a collaborative environment and is capable of managing both strategic and tactical HR responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary HR contact for managers and employees in Gainesboro.

Ensure alignment with corporate HR programs, policies, and procedures.

Handle employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding in partnership with Corporate HR.

Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

Support performance management, including reviews, goal-setting, and employee development.

Organize training sessions and support employee engagement initiatives.

Maintain HRIS records and generate regular HR reports and analytics.

Partner with corporate leadership on organizational planning and workforce development.

Administer benefits and leave programs; coordinate with vendors and Corporate HR.

Requirements:

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in an HR generalist role.

Solid knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR compliance practices.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and resolve conflicts effectively.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Experience working with HRIS systems and HR reporting tools.

Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
