Position Summary

As a Project Lead at Created Solutions, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of critical projects across a dynamic portfolio. In this highly collaborative and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with customer goals, and driving projects to successful completion.

You will play a key role in fostering innovation, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering solutions that meet the needs of our customers in the defense and aerospace sectors.

Required Qualifications

Must be a U.S. citizen with an Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Bachelors degree in engineering, project management, or a related technical field (Masters degree preferred).

Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, including leading teams and managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

Strong understanding of DoD project lifecycles, including proposal development, program initiation, execution, and close-out.

Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.

Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate project plans and solutions to diverse audiences.

Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects and customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with DoD agencies such as DARPA, NASA, Army, Navy, Airforce, National Labs, or MDA.

Familiarity with advanced/composite materials, and system integration.

Strong connections within the defense and aerospace communities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of project lifecycles, from proposal development and kickoff through execution and close-out.

Collaborate with engineering, testing, and manufacturing teams to ensure project objectives are met.

Lead project scheduling, risk management, and performance tracking to ensure alignment with budgets and timelines.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates and addressing questions or challenges.

Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.

Anticipate and mitigate risks, ensuring that potential issues are resolved proactively.

Promote and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence within your teams.
