Responsibilities for the Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative:
The Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative is responsible for handling the input of all daily sales orders, generating work orders and following up on all customer inquiries. In conjunction with our sales and estimating team, the Customer Service Rep will help address any new customer or vender concerns and ensure proper set-up and processing of initial orders. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;
Processing Customer Purchase Orders / Order Entry
Generating Jobs / Work Orders
Expediting
Support outside sales representatives
Purchase Order Acknowledgements
Drop Ships
Daily Invoicing
Support of sales requests to ensure we meet and exceed customer's expectations
Follow-up of all orders to ensure they are processing on-time
Follow up on open order reports
Answer incoming phone-calls
Scheduling
Support continuous improvement and quality objectives
Essential Experience for the Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative:
Good understanding of order processing and business/office documentation
Experience working under pressure and in fast paced environments
Manufacturing experience is a plus
Necessary Skills for the Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative:
Good reasoning skills & decision-making abilities with a sense of urgency
Ability to multi-task efficiently without affecting accuracy/detail
Competent computer skills i.e., Word and Excel
Organized with ability to prioritize a multitude of tasks
Good communication skills
Enthusiastic and team orientated
Self-motivated
