Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test electronic hardware products, including PCBs, schematics, and firmware, using Altium or equivalent

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers, to develop and deliver high-quality products

Work with suppliers to ensure that components meet specifications and are delivered on time

Perform RF product design and PCB layout, including impedance matching, transmission line design, and EMI/EMC mitigation

Create and maintain documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test plans

Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues during development and in the field

Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to continually improve product design and development processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field

2+ years of experience designing and developing electronic hardware products, with a focus on PCB design and Altium or equivalent software

Strong understanding of RF concepts and experience with RF chipset integration in PCBs, including impedance matching and transmission line design

Experience with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters

Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with embedded systems design and development

Knowledge of regulatory compliance (such as FCC, CE, and UL) and product safety standards
