Intravenous Therapist (IV Therapist)
Job Summary:
Liquivida IV therapists should have a positive attitude and great personality to recommend bloodwork and advise on which IV drip and services are best suited for their unique lifestyle. Know how to influence sales and customer satisfaction will be given priority.
The Intravenous Therapist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the lounge. The IV therapist will perform business/administrative tasks, work closely with store managers, as well as other team members and directly with clients to conduct medical procedures for patients.
Expectations:
Consult with patients and recommend which drip will best meet their needs
Obtain Vital signs and auscultate lung sounds
Mix IV drips using sterile techniques with multiple nutrient vials
Insert, monitor and remove intravenous catheter using proper aseptic technique
Ensure safety and accuracy during IV insertion and observe patient occasionally during IV
infusion
Accurate documentation and paperwork
Have complete working knowledge of Point of Sales/EMR system (Zenoti)
Greet customers with enthusiasm and professionalism while providing exceptional customer service
Work closely with the Corporate Management Team to educate, promote, and sell services on an on-going basis
Proactively solicit clients for treatments and schedule them for an appointment
Process all monetary transactions accurately using Point of Sale system
Answer the phone in a professional and knowledgeable manner to obtain appropriate information and to address the customers needs
Maintain facility: Keep reception desk, retail, refreshment and surrounding areas in an orderly and clean appearance
Close the Point of Sales system, balance the drawer and check the receipts for accuracy and adjust any errors made during and at the end of shift
Communicate and inform co-workers of any and all pertinent information throughout shift and at shift close.
Handle and assist as needed with guest recovery and issues. Respond with management as directed.
Assist as needed with storing equipment, product displays and preparing for special events.
Maintain a high level of service knowledge. Understand all product ingredients and effectively explain their benefits to clients.
Regularly attend meetings: daily communication, service, monthly
Perform all side work as assigned.
Increase word-of-mouth in the local area by building relationships with neighboring businesses
Follow up with previous customers and secure future bookings
Recommend ideas for new marketing collateral to improve the in-store experience
Schedule and oversee any maintenance, utility set up or other contracting jobs for the location.

IV Therapist Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in appropriate computer skills and office equipment
Ability to multitask
Ability to explain services provided to clients
Retail sales experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Highly organized and good planning skills
Focused and detail-oriented
Required 1 year IV therapy experience
Education and Experience Requirements:
Must possess a current and valid State Paramedic or Nursing license
Must possess a current CPR/AED for Healthcare Provider certification
Must possess a current ACLS certification
Understand the basics of intravenous (IV) injections and IV fluid administration

Pay: Base pay rate starting at $29.00
