About the Role

As a Transportation Project Manager, you'll take charge of critical projects, from inception to completion, while also playing a hands-on role in the design and engineering aspects. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with a team of experts to bring each project to life—ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

Lead and manage roadway and structural projects, overseeing timelines, budgets, and deliverables

Serve as the main contact for clients, communicating progress and addressing any issues

Develop project plans, monitor progress, and confirm adherence to industry and regulatory standards

Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges to keep projects on track

Contribute to the design and engineering of transportation projects

Use engineering tools to create detailed project designs and technical drawings

Perform structural calculations and collaborate on innovative design solutions

Ensure all design work meets safety, sustainability, and quality standards

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

8+ years of experience in transportation design and project management

PMP certification (preferred)

Proven experience with INDOT projects through direct employment or partnerships

Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools

Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

Full-time
