You will validate, troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems and respond to basic warranty calls.
How you will do itLoads system-level controller softwarePerforms device verification, commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (such as: sensors, actuators, etc.) and completes all required commissioning documentationKeeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issuesCalibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipmentCompletes administrative tasks including but not limited to daily reports, time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentationDocuments changes and provides information for as-built documentationCommunicates with the JCI project manager, contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work siteFollows all safety standards and attends required safety training.

What we look for RequiredBasic computer skillsDemonstrated technical, electrical and mechanical aptitudeAble to use test & measurement equipment, hand and power tools (i.e.
drills, saws, etc.)Attention to detailGood communication and listening skillsBasic knowledge of electrical, and mechanical HVAC systems PreferredLow voltage/120 volt wiring skills preferredHVAC, building automation experience preferredExperience working with Microsoft tools, Excel and Visio.
