REQUIRED: Valid NYS teaching certificate in Students with Disabilities Grades 1-6

Prepare lessons and other instructional materials according to the individual achievement and levels; appropriate goals established within their Individualized Education Program.
Oversee and follow IEP recommendations, Behavior Plan development, reinforcement systems, sensory integration, communication plans and other individual student. support plans consistently with fidelity across all classroom staff.
Collaborate and implement student supports.
Lead a team of paraprofessionals in all aspects of student supports and coordination of materials and material development.
Coordinate with Related Service providers for program uniformity to promote ongoing and consistent team communications.
Proactive collaboration between classroom team, providers and counselors.
Effective communication across students, staff and parents.
Commitment to ongoing professional learning, growth and development.
Willingness to be participate in and support student activities.
