Responsibilities:

Polish metals to a high luster using hands, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets or exceeds specifications.

Evaluate feed screws for rework. Describe work scope and submit to estimating.

Utilize hand tools, measuring tools, and other shop equipment to perform bench work.

Assist in the assembly and fitting of metal parts and components.

Ensure work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy.

Train with existing co-workers to learn the "art" of metal finishing and polishing.

Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a polisher/finisher.

High School Education, with preferred emphasis on vocational training in manufacturing.

Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Ability to use micrometers and other measuring equipment to accurately check dimensions.

Ability to regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs.

Must have meticulous attention to detail.
