Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Flux Core to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques and processes. As a MIG Welder/Flux Core, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on metal components, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to specifications.

Duties

Perform MIG Welder/Flux Core on various materials, including sheet metal and ductwork, following blueprints and schematics.

Set up and operate welding equipment, including power tools and press brake machines.

Conduct pipe threading as required for specific projects.

Inspect welded joints for quality and compliance with industry standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Utilize basic math skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances for fabrication projects.

Skills

Proficiency in MIG welding techniques, with knowledge of FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) being a plus.

Experience working with sheet metal and ductwork fabrication.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.

Familiarity with rigging practices for safe handling of materials.

Competence in using power tools effectively and safely.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.

Bilingual a plus.
