Position Summary for the Mold Maker I Mold Repair:

We are looking for an experienced Mold Maker I Mold Repairman specializing in the Prototype Injection Molding Industry or Production Injection Molding Industry

Shift Times for this Position:

1st Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM (8 Hour Days) and 6:00AM to 4:30PM (10 Hour Days) must be open to working up until 4:30 when needed. - (Monday – Friday & day on Saturday)

2nd Shift (Flexible Start Time): 2:30PM – 4:30PM to 10:30PM – 2:30AM (Varies Between Start time and if we are working 8 Hours or 10 Hours) - (Monday – Friday & day on Saturday)

3rd Shift (Flexible Start Time: 9:30PM-11:30PM to 5:30AM-7:30AM (Varies Between Start time and if we are working 8 Hours or 10 Hours) - (Monday – Friday & day on Saturday)

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Reading blueprints, following instructions, and using CAD programs to plan the molds that must be constructed.

Creating new tooling or repairing tooling for molds according to specifications from the design team.

Setting up equipment and ensuring each piece of equipment is appropriate for the intended mold design.

Mixing modeling materials and melting metal pieces for creating molds.

Maintaining and repairing existing tooling and molds.

Welding, Fitting and Fabricating experience

Manual Machining, CNC Machining and EDM Machining

Creating prototype products, fixtures, and jigs to check the effectiveness of newly created molds.

Benching and Spotting

Analyzing and correcting mold malfunctions.

Disassembling mold tooling for cleaning and repairs.

Compensation Range:

Hourly: $30.00 to $45.00

Time and a Half of Hourly Range after 40 Hours

Double Time of Hourly Range on Sundays
