HR Generalist (Bilingual in Korean & English)
Reporting to the team manager of Human Resources, this position will be responsible for the tactical implementation of specific responsibilities of the HR Department specifically related to employee recruitment, payroll, benefits, immigration, and compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. The HR generalist III needs to be a self-starter with generalist background and at least 4 years’ experience. Candidate should be able to execution plan across all levels in the organization.
Responsibilities
Recruit, interview and select applicant
Responsible for the new hire process; sending, receiving and maintaining new hire documents.
Assist management in determining appropriate staffing levels, recruitment resources, and objective selection techniques
Recruitment and temp agency vendor management
Conduct exit interviews & provide outplacement support
Identify, benchmark, and implement benefits program
Administer compensation, benefits, including weekly payroll closing
Manage and Maintain payroll & benefit data, report, information
HRIS maintenance and update employee roster
Employees’ Visa and work authorization management
Serve as a link between departments and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
Formulate, provide policies, procedures & programs for recruitment, placement, orientation, benefits & compensation, & labor relations
HR documentation
Monitor, manage timecard and related policy
Administer, handle vendors, agencies (Recruiting, payroll, benefit, HRIS, lawyer)
Requirement
Bachelor's degree(required), Master's degree(preferred)
Well-versed in US Federal and multi-state employment laws governing employee relations practices, payroll, FLSA, etc.
Knowledge of key areas and best practices in HR (Employee Relations, Comp & Ben, Payroll, Recruiting).
Broad HR Generalist skills, including: compensation and benefits, payroll, maintaining HRIS, performance management, labor relations; employment law, etc.
Resolving Conflicts and Negotiating with Others
Communication skills (expression & comprehension)
Bi-lingual (English-Korean)
Proficient in Microsoft Office

HR certificate preferred
