Job Title: Floor Care & Janitorial Projects Specialist

Location: Brooklyn Heights, OH

Overview: Jantech Building Services, Inc. is seeking individuals to fill part-time Floor Care & Janitorial Project Specialist roles. $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, working minimum of 12 hours per week and up to 30 hours per week. Typical weekly work schedule:

Thursdays evenings between 4 and 10 hours

Fridays evenings between 4 and 10 hours

Saturdays daytimes between 4 and 10 hours

Minimum weekly scheduled Thursday evenings 4 hours, Friday evenings 4 hours, and Saturday daytime 4 hours. Some projects and work assignments will require more than the minimum hours to be worked on Thursday evenings, Friday evenings and Saturday during the day.

Floor care responsibilities is performing floor cleaning, floor scrubbing, grout cleaning, floor finishing, carpet cleaning, and carpet extraction cleaning. Janitorial project responsibilities include construction clean ups, move in/out clean ups, wall washing, wall scrubbing, pressure washing, detail cleaning, overhead vacuuming, and similar work.

Janitorial projects and floor care work is performed at customer sites in the greater Cleveland, Akron, and Canton areas. Work shifts begin / end at Brooklyn Heights, OH office location and travel time to and from work sites is paid. A valid driver license with a clean driving record is required.

Taking a methodical and consistent approach to technical tasks and desire to maintain a neat and orderly work space is required. Some experience working in the commercial janitorial, housekeeping, floor care, or related service industry is helpful. Also NOT required.

Applicants will be asked to complete a basic criminal background screening and to provide documentation of employment eligibility in the United States. Applicants must be 18 years of age.

Each person that chooses to join our team is a direct employee of Jantech. Wages are paid on a bi-weekly basis, 26 pays per year, with Federal, State, and Local tax withholdings processed through payroll. Direct deposit of pay is required.
