*This is an IN-OFFICE position at our Reston, VA office*

APPTIUM Technologies is a fast-growing provider of digital commerce solutions. Our Cloud Commerce Platform powers global SaaS and cloud marketplaces for leading distributors and service providers. As we continue to scale, we're seeking a Senior Product Marketing professional to drive and evolve our go-to-market (GTM) strategy, shape strategic product positioning, and support the growth of a high-performing team.

Roles and Responsibilities

Own and Elevate GTM Strategy: Develop and lead comprehensive GTM plans, encompassing product positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, and launch execution.

Positioning and Messaging: Craft compelling messaging frameworks that resonate with multiple personas (technical, business, and executive), differentiating Apptium’s Cloud Commerce Platform in a competitive landscape.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with senior leadership, sales, product, delivery, and customer success teams to ensure strategic alignment and consistent execution.

Customer and Market Insight: Deeply understand the buyer journey through market research, persona development, and win/loss analysis to inform product decisions and marketing strategies.

Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a small but growing team of Product Marketing Associates; scale team capabilities, processes, and output as the company grows.

Content & Collateral Strategy: Drive the creation of high-impact collateral (product sheets, presentations, sales tools, etc.) and contribute to content marketing and demand generation campaigns.

Measure and Optimize: Define success metrics, analyze performance, and use insights to continually refine GTM activities and feature adoption strategies.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Research: Maintain ongoing analysis of market trends, competitive offerings, and industry shifts to support strategic planning and positioning.

Skills & Experience

5+ years in product marketing or related roles in B2B SaaS/PaaS environments, with at least 2 years in a senior-level or leadership capacity.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a technical discipline (MBA a plus).

Deep experience in B2B2X models; familiarity with e-commerce, telecom, channel sales, or cloud marketplaces strongly preferred.

Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and data visualization skills.

Proven success launching products and building GTM programs from strategy through execution.

Experience managing and mentoring marketing team members.

Strong understanding of enterprise technology, APIs, and software development lifecycles is a plus.
