Commercial Construction Project Manager
Location: Greater Phoenix area
Salary Range: $110,000 – $145,000 (plus benefits)
TLW Construction, a reputable commercial general contractor established in 1983, is seeking a motivated and professional Ground Up Commercial Construction Project Manager in leading clients and teams throughout the development and construction of ground-up commercial projects ranging from $3 million to $20 million. Key Responsibilities:
Establish and manage project budgets
Write subcontractor scopes and manage buyouts
Oversee document control processes
Create and monitor project schedules in collaboration with superintendents
Manage all estimating, purchasing, and field construction activities
Ensure safe, high-quality, and timely project completion
Facilitate clear communication and maintain strong client relations
Use sound judgment for decision-making and conflict resolution
Maintain strong leadership and adaptability throughout project challenges
Minimum Qualifications:
Proficient in MS Office suite
Experience with scheduling software (MS Project or similar)
High level plan reading comprehension for civil, architectural, structural and MPE design
Strong technical and motivational writing and communication skills
Ability to comprehend and analyze complex project cost models
Experience with web-based project management programs (Procore experience is a plus)
Self-driven, organized, and effective negotiator
Minimum of 7 years of project management experience in commercial construction
