Senior Aviation Military Analyst (Integration Synch/Ops SME)

About the position:
The purpose of this position is to provide professional support services for Army Capability Managers (ACMs) and the Experimentation and Analysis Directorate (CEAD) located at United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE), Fort Novosel, Alabama.
Responsibilities:
Analyze Aviation organizations in support of formation-based assessments.
Analyze Aviation organizations in support of simulation activities.
Analyze Aviation organizations in support of annual capabilities needs assessments.
Tailor methodology and conduct analysis to best examine Aviation tasks, conditions, standards, and gaps across select Aviation formations.
Write/support the revision or re-writing of a substantial number of JCIDS, supporting, and new emerging requirements documents.
Review manned/unmanned platform programs currently in effect, requirements documents.
Analyze the validity of the current capability concerning Large Scale Combat Operations.
Analyze the ability of the systems to operate in a Large-Scale Combat operational environment.
Qualifications:
Rated Army Aviator with at least fifteen (15) years of Aviation flight/combat operations experience is required
Senior or Master Rated Aviator required
In-depth understanding of integrated scheduling process required to assist ACM
Directors to synchronize their respective modernization plans across the Army
Aviation Enterprise and aligned with the Army Modernization Strategy
Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
Experience working in combat developments is required
Minimum of 5 years' experience in capability management /combat developments is required
Experience authoring a Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) approved JCIDS document is required
Experience in planning and synchronization of data input from multiple sources into a strategic messaging at a very large corporation level similar to Army Senior
Leaders assigned to the Department of the Army
Experience in planning, executing and facilitating Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs
Participation and understanding the procedures and processes, as a direct team member, in an Army Aviation Enterprise Synchronization Model workgroup supporting Army Aviation integration and synchronization of modernization efforts and funding strategy planning and execution for Army Aviation aircraft
Must be able to review and edit products to ensure they are written at the graduate level
Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required within 90 days
Capable of independent work based on broad senior level guidance to produce completed white papers, concept papers, requirements documents, operational views, and other written products as required

Capabilities Based Assessment CLR 250 (RQM 2500)
Developing Key Performance Parameters CLR 252 (RQM 2520)
Defense Acquisition University courses - Market Research CON 0040, and Analysis of Alternatives CLR 1510.
