Title: Industrial/Graphic UI Designer
Location: Batesville IN 47006 - Hybrid
Contract: 03+ months
Pay Rate$30-31/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Job Description
Work closely with product development teams to help ideate and conceptualize new product features and enhancements to current products in medical device portfolio.
Provide design support for client's projects, with an emphasis on concept visualization, product User
Qualifications
Currently enrolled full-time in a B.S. or B.A. program in Industrial Design, Visual Communication (Graphic) Design or other Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) related major.
Professional, self-motivated, highly creative and able to work with limited supervision.
Ability to apply HCI principles in translating customer requirements into effective User Interface concepts.
Desired Skills/Qualifications
Software Applications: Proficiency in both Mac and PC environments preferred
MS-Office – Experience preferred (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
STRONG computer skills in 2D graphics/illustration software (Advanced level in Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
Figma – Knowledge is a STRONG plus but not required
Adobe XD – Knowledge is a plus but not required
KeyShot, Strata 3D CX – Some knowledge is a plus but not required
SolidEdge or other 3D CAD software – Some knowledge is a plus but not required
Additional Skills
Ability to translate and produce presentation materials (PowerPoint slides, images, interactive demos, etc.) based on customer ideas and feedback.
Sketching ability is a plus.
Experience in/exposure to User Testing/Usability Engineering methods is a definite plus.
