Description:

This position is responsible for maintaining shipping and receiving matters and for overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Monday- Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Shipping and Receiving inventory using a forklift and barcode scanning system.

Properly load and unload semi-trailers and/or shipping containers.

Maintain the company warehouse through organizing, cleaning, and cycle counting items on a regular basis.

Organizing the warehouse to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming shipments.

Assist the manager with troubleshooting shipping issues, customer complaints, and any inventory issues that arise and work to solve them.

Adhere to all Greenbridge safety rules.

General housekeeping of the shipping/warehouse area and breakroom.

Stocking inventory.

Place merchandise in warehouse or storage facility by packaging and lifting items as necessary

Operates forklift and pallet jacks when storing or moving large goods.

Performs other related duties assigned by Management, including but not limited to light production assembly.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Skills Required:

Effective communication, observation, planning, writing, reading, basic math, and prioritization skills.

Forklift and barcode scanner operation preferred.

Demonstrates good housekeeping practices.

Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.

Works well independently and with others.

Good communication skills.

Organized with attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.

Education and Experience:

3 to 5 years’ experience in a warehouse environment

Forklift certification preferred.

Physical Requirements / Environmental Demands:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move items as needed.

Must be able to visually inspect inbound and outbound shipments.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repetitively.

Required to wear PPE to include steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection.

Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temp.
