Programmer Analyst (.NET Full Stack)

Job Description

Codeworks is an IT Services firm, known for our strong commitment to quality and for our direct client relationships.

Our client located in Lansing, MI is looking to bring aboard a LOCAL senior level .NET developer to join their team in support of multiple development initiatives. This will be on a long-term contract basis, with a strong likelihood of additional long-term extensions.

As a Programmer Analyst, this individual will collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and develop secure, scalable applications. They’ll play a key role in both analysis and programming aspects of the software development life cycle.

Other responsibilities include:

Design and develop accessible, user-centered web applications using modern frameworks and tools.

Participate in project review meetings, contributing clear insights and technical documentation.

Create and maintain technical artifacts, such as system specifications and data models.

Write high-quality, maintainable code in accordance with organizational architecture and security standards (including ADA compliance).

Identify and mitigate security risks and resolve issues proactively.

Support all phases of testing (unit, string, integration), including development of test scripts and documentation.

Participate in code reviews and configuration/change management processes.

Provide support and training to users and develop user documentation.

Analyze enhancement requests and assess their impact on current systems

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:

Demonstrated experience in gathering and translating requirements from stakeholders into technical deliverables.

Strong background in both functional and technical documentation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and C#.

Hands-on experience with .NET, React UI, MVC, and microservices or similar technologies.

Proficient in writing database queries and working with stored procedures and ORMs like Entity Framework.

Knowledge and experience with application-level security and system security planning.

Experience developing and executing test plans. Familiarity with Azure DevOps or automated tools like TestComplete is a plus.

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $45/hr and $52/hr. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
