Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is currently seeking a Client Service Associate to join our Branch office team in Port Huron, Michigan.

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include servicing clients, assist in operations, managing database, general organizational support, as well as client interaction. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset in order to anticipate business needs and will assume ad hoc responsibility for project-oriented tasks.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support, which includes but not limited to creation, maintenance and editing of documents, spreadsheets, files, and presentations.

Assist in maintaining the day-to-day operations to ensure operational excellence

Client Interaction and service

Support client onboarding process

Maintain and process documents

Assist with audit preparations

Communicate effectively and efficiently with home office personnel

Interact on routine/sensitive matters

Interact and support branch staff, Branch Control Officers and all levels of management

Ensure that all documents are sent to home office in a timely manner

Cross training within other positions in the Operations area

Willing and able to take on additional tasks

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

1-2 years financial services/fixed income experience preferred

Willing to obtain FINRA Registrations: SIE, Series 7/63 or 66 (Will be sponsored)

Possess a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams

Ability to navigate computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Able to interface and articulate well with all levels of employees and clients in a highly professional and friendly manner
