POSITION TITLE: Truck Driver

Scaffold Resource has been a fixture and steady force in the Mid-Atlantic region’s scaffold and vertical access industry for more than two decades. It has successfully accomplished this task while expanding its customer base and project capabilities to meet the demands of every conceivable challenge it has been contracted to complete.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe transportation of scaffolding materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely deliveries, and assisting with loading/unloading as needed. Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Safely operate a 24’ flatbed with Moffet or tractor to transport scaffolding and mobile equipment.

Load and unload scaffolding equipment at job sites using proper lifting techniques and equipment.

Ensure all materials are secured properly for transit.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Maintain accurate bill of ladings.

Follow all DOT, state, and company driving regulations.

Assist the scaffolding team in material handling and site setup when needed.

Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding deliveries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid CDL Class A or B driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Experience operating commercial trucks, preferably in construction or scaffolding industries.

Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Forklift certification is a plus.

Commitment to excellent customer service.

Ability to maintain an active state issued driver’s license.

JOB DEMANDS:

Ability to lift heavy materials up to 75 lbs.

Tolerance for working outdoors in diverse weather conditions.

Frequent crouching, bending, and kneeling as needed.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and travel out of town as project needs demand.
