Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement and management of goods within the warehouse. Your primary duties will include picking orders, boxing, packaging, shrink wrapping, and palletizing orders. You will utilize a pallet jack and scan gun to verify that picked orders match the order forms, ensuring accuracy. Additionally, you will monitor shipments using the company's systems.

Responsibilities

Pick, box, package, shrink wrap, and palletize orders.

Utilize pallet jack and scan gun for order verification.

Ensure accuracy between picked orders and order forms.

Monitor shipments using company systems.Essential Skills

Ability to stand for 8 hours.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Attention to detail.

Experience with general labor tasks including inventory management, order picking, and packaging.

Proficiency in using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.Additional Skills & Qualifications

6+ months experience in a warehouse setting with tasks related to shipping, receiving, inventory, or stocking.

ERP experience.

Experience handling large orders.

Ability to read and write English.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Work Environment

Work in a brand new, air-conditioned warehouse. The shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Phoenix, Arizona.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
