Job Description

Join a leading company in the production of corrugated boxes, serving major clients such as Jones Dairy, IKI, and Automated Pet Care. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of loading and unloading materials, as well as transporting them within the facility and to delivery trucks.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and deliveries.

Transport materials or equipment according to the production schedule or shipping orders.

Supply raw or WHIP stock to production machines.

Load and unload goods from vehicles.

Move goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility.

Stack goods in correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.

Stack empty pallets.

Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines.

Dump materials into machine hoppers.Essential Skills

6 months to 1 year of forklift operating experience (sit down or stand up).

Experience in material handling, picking, and packing.

Proficiency with RF scanners.

Ability to unload and ship materials.Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to lift 10-30 lbs consistently.

Capability to stand on feet for 8-10 hours per day.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work schedule is for the 2nd shift, from 2 pm to 10 pm, with a competitive hourly wage that includes a shift differential, at $19.25/hr. Employees have been working nine-hour shifts consistently. The facility is equipped with Flexo and corrugated packaging machines, providing a dynamic and noisy environment. The plant is smaller, with 50 employees, and prides itself on being clean and organized.

This is a position based out of FORT ATKINSON, Wisconsin.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
