PRODUCTION OPERATOR III

C Shift, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday 6am - 6:15pm Earn up to $24/hour with our competitive shift differential!
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Use established documentation, tools, quality and production concepts in accordance with established safety procedures, to set up, start up and run machines that perform one or more packaging functions, both assembly and downstream packaging automation equipment.
Be able to effectively operate equipment as required.
Maintains good quality and high production rates.
Can establish process parameters in various secondary operations equipment as needed.
Use applicable hand tools and air tools, to perform sampling, set up, start up and running production functions.
Trouble shoot and fix minor mechanical issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Adhere to and communicate to others all plant Health, Safety and Quality guidelines and GMP.
Other duties as assigned. Safety and Cleanliness
Adhere to safety policies.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe conditions to supervisor.
Wear company issued personal protective equipment (PPE) such as uniforms, gloves, hairnets. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Are You?
A High School or Vo-Tech School graduate and 5+ years production operations experience.
2-year technical degree or 3-5 years’ experience with machines that perform one or more packaging functions, both assembly and downstream packaging automation equipment. Preferred:
Previous experience in an ISO 9001 and/or 13485 manufacturing environment.
Experience leading process improvement initiatives or projects. Do You?

Read, understand and follow documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and procedures.
Apply basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or visual/diagram form.
Self-motivated, conscientious, with a results-oriented mindset.
Good organizational and communication skills to work independently and also in a team environment.
Ability to use measuring devices such as Comparator, Dial indicator, Go/No Go gauges.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and demands.
Strong technical aptitude, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills to trouble shoot and solve problems.
Sound judgment - ability to work efficiently with many competing demands.
Ability to speak clearly and effectively before groups of employees, customers and auditors as needed.
Ability to onboard, develop and train Production Operator I & II
Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and coordinate work with Production Operator I & II as needed.
Ability lead quality improvement projects.
Effectively communicate with supervisor.

Stand for most of the work shift.
Use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, crouch, bend, twist, and only occasionally sit.
Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Heavier amounts can be moved with assistance of equipment.
Knowledge of and/or previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus!
