Prescient Edge is seeking an Sr. Technical Editor to support a federal government client.

Description:

Reviews intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, syntax, logic, clarity, and consistency established in the DIA Manual for Intelligence Production.

Ensures that style and format conform to DIA publication standards and language presentation is consistent with prescribed manual and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields. Works with intelligence analysts and leadership to revise products for narrative organization and negotiates further revisions as needed.

Drafts tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure the content supports the overall intelligence assessment and is consistent with the accompanying text. Provides proper classification markings per DIA/DIE guidance.

Security Clearance:

Security clearance required TS/SCI with a CI POLY or the ability to obtain one.

Requirements

Desired Experience:

12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Desired Education:

Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the master’s degree.
