Position: Fire Sprinkler Designer
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems design, with NICET certification preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and layout fire sprinkler systems for various buildings and structures
Create detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors
Perform hydraulic calculations to determine pipe sizes and sprinkler head requirements
Review and interpret building plans, blueprints, and specifications
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions
Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals
Provide technical support during installation and commissioning
Qualifications:
NICET certification in Water-Based Systems Layout preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler design
Proficiency in CAD software
Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
