Retail Store Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of a well established retail store in Dothan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage various aspects of store operations effectively.

Duties

Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.

Recruit, hire and train sales team to meet demands

Implement customer satisfaction programs using data collected in sales trends, poor performance and new product information

Maintain store appearance by ensuring adequate stock and ensuring housekeeping tasks are completed

Work with the financial team to monitor and administer the store budget

Ensure staff schedules are prepared monthly and submit timekeeping for payroll

Assist with cultivating new business strategies and long-term planning as part of the company leadership team

Represent the company at various civic and community eventsRequirements

Must have a minimum of an Associates Degree in Business or related field. An advanced degree in business or related field is preferred.

Must have a minimum of 5 years in retail, sales or customer service management

Must have demonstrated success of leading a high volume sales team

Must be able to work a flexible schedule with a 5 day work week including Saturdays and popular shopping dates
