Job Description
CEVA Logistics is hiring a CDL A Local Dry Van Company Driver in Portland. This is a night shift position Monday – Friday. You will be touching freight, which is delivered in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with State and Federal DOT regulations and all Transportation Security Administration requirements.
Compensation:
Weekly Pay: $1,600-$1,900
Bonuses:
Driver Referral Bonus: $1,000 per driver hired, paid after 90 days of employment
$2,500 sign on bonus
Paid via direct deposit weekly

Will require some travel to help cover a team run if needed (pay increase for Team coverage)
Dispatch around 6pm, 19 hour round trip from Portland nightly ( 1 driver drives about 9 hours doing a few delivers and at the midpoint the drivers switch and other drives back to Portland while making a few deliveries ) 1 drives while other sleeps. Arrive back in Portland next day in the afternoon.
Shift: Night shift, After 6pm dispatch
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Route: Local, around Portland area
Operating a Liftgate doing deliveries to Honda dealerships
Equipment
2023 and newer Volvos
Automatic Transmission
Speed governed at 70 mph
Inward and outward facing event triggered cameras
Slip seating
Qualifications
Must have valid CDL A License
Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL Class A Tractor Trailer driving experience
Comfortable driving in all weather conditions
OTR or Regional driving experience preferred
Comfortable with touch freight
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Minimum 5 years industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED
Must have valid CDL A License
Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
No more than 3 moving violations/traffic citations in the past 3 years
No more than 2 preventable accidents (chargeable or not) in the last 3 years
No DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years
Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
You must have the ability to read, speak, and understand English as outlined in the Road Executive Order and stated in Federal law
Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 45 miles of Portland, OR or be willing to relocate for this position
