What You Will Do:
The Appian Developers at Guidehouse design, develop, test, and deploy Appian applications for our clients. Our developers work with a team of experienced developers to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Design and develop Appian applications according to client requirements
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test Appian applications
Participate in design and code reviews
Collaborate with business analysts to understand client needs and requirements
Ensure Appian applications are scalable, reliable, and performant
Troubleshoot and debug Appian applications
Stay up-to-date with the latest Appian features and capabilities
Participate in Appian certification programs and maintain Appian certification
Create technical documentation and user guides
What You Will Need:
US Citizenship is contractually required for this position
US equivalent Bachelor's degree
Ability to achieve Appian certifications upon hire
Minimum ONE (1) year of professional and Appian development experience
Understanding of Appian platform, including Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, and Rules
Experience working in Agile development methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
Understanding of Appian integrations with 3rd party applications
Client-facing written and oral communications skills, relationship focus, and strong technical and business acumen
Selected candidate must be able to work in hybrid environment
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Active Appian Associate Developer certifications
Experience with Java, SQL, and web services
Work experience on a software development project in a federal government setting or with Federal Acquisition Management
An ‘early adopter’ mindset for new Appian platform features
The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
